Introduction
Page 1

There is very little information concerning Sgt Kenneth Anthony Pettersen.
He was born in Jamaica on 13 September 1925.

His father, Conrad ( Konrad ) Pettersen, was born in Norway and
entered the United States in 1918.

His mother was Lucille Alexandria Bryson, born in Jamaica on 21 December 1902.

They were married in 1924 in Kingston, Jamaica.

Based on two of the below documents,
Mrs. Pettersen requested Permanent Residency in the United States in July 1934.
At this time she and her husband were divorced .

She states that her son Kenneth was still living in Jamaica.

Similar information is in her Petition for Naturalization dated 1936
except that her son was now living in the Bronx, New York.

Also in this Petition are the names of her two witnesses.
One is George Molter and he would become her husband in 1940.

These documents are followed by a Manifest of Alien Passengers
sailing to the United States from Jamaica.

This is dated April 1935 and Kenneth Pettersen, age 9, is one of the passengers.

Sgt Pettersen's Registration Card, dated 13 September 1943,
has him living in the Bronx at 800 E 149th St.

In Page 2 you will find three orientation maps.
