The white circle in the below map highlights the area where
Capt Hahn's B-29 was attacked and crashed
during the 27 January 1945 mission to
the Musashino Aircraft Engine Plant.

Below the map are two pages from the Tobu Army District Report.
This concise summary from POW Research Network Japan
contains details concerning the
attack, crash location, and the status of the crew members.

Four crew members survived.
Their names appear at the bottom of the first page and continue to the second.

Following Lt Redinger's capture he was taken to the
Eastern District Kempei Tai Headquarters
located close to the Imperial Palace.

In late March 1945 he was transferred to the
Tokyo Military Prison and died during the fire the night of 25-26 May 1945.

Included is a summary of the Mission and the burial locations,
if known, of all the crew members.

These men are buried in the Zachary Taylor National Cemetery.
