The Newell Crew was a Replacement Crew and their names are in Crew # 20.

Next are the two pages of the Movement Orders from Herington AAF, Kansas.

This is dated 2 December 1944 and they were assigned to
B-29 Serial Number 42-63493.

Directed to fly to Mather AAF, Sacramento, California,
( OR other Air Port of Embarkation as CG ATC may direct ).

Lt Sisson's Individual Flight Record for December 1944
indicates that he was transferred to
Morrison Field, Florida, on 3 December 1944.

The reason for this change does not appear in his IDPF or IFR.

He ( and quite likely the entire crew) was transferred from
Morrison Field on 14 December to Saipan, arriving 19 December.

The 877th Bomb Squadron Morning Report for 19 December 1944 states that
the crew's status was changed from Temporary Duty to Duty.
