One page from Missing Air Crew Report 14911 is followed by
two pages from the Chubu Army District Report.
The Missing Air Crew Report ( MACR ) was required to be filed
within 48-72 hours after a B-29 failed to return from a mission.
In the first report the crew's status would be Missing in Action (
MIA ).
Later revisions updated the information at
the far left side of the page.
Following the MACR are two pages from the
Chubu Army District Report put together by
POW Research Network Japan.
In there are details that do not appear in any documents in the IDPFs.
These include the locations where the crash took place and
the places where the survivors were captured.
