From her hand written letters it is apparent that
Mrs Warde had obtained detailed information concerning her son.
Most likely this was from people
outside the Quartermaster Corps.

that an insurance company required official information
concerning her son's death.
She requested that the Office of the Adjutant General send the letter.

The Adjutant General from the American Legion.
They had received a letter ( no source provided )
with information about Lt Warde.
In this letter is a request for the Adjutant General to
send this information to Mrs Warde.

Mrs Warde from the Memorial Division:
" no information concerning the burial location of your son "
