Fold3 and the Air Force Historical Research Agency
do not have a Page 6 and
the list of names and addresses of Next of Kin.
The first document following this commentary is from
Sgt John Wright's
Find-A-Grave
and
has the name of each crew member and his
Next of Kin
From this list the family members were able to
contact each other.

The MACR was required to be filed
within 48 hours of a B-29's failure to return to base.
Following the list of the Next of Kin are the first two pages
from the original MACR.
The Current Status of
each crew member is MIA .
Handwritten next to three names
are the faint letters EUS.
Next is a statement by
Captain Donald Thompson.
He noted that Major Goldworthys' aircraft made a normal bomb run
and then things began to go wrong.

EUS : Returned to the Continental United States
KIA : Killed in Action
DED : Declared Dead
related to a
Finding of Death
Note that SSgt Wells' status is KIA.**

The Finding of Death was issued
one year and one day following the last known date
that the person was alive.
For these men this date was 4 December 1945.
