Aviation Cadet ( A/C ) Gerould Giddings' first station was
at the Santa Ana Army Air Base, California.

His first IFR is from Hemet AAF and
covers the period August - September 1943.

Next is a dental record from Stockton AAF, California, dated 10 December 1943.

A/C Giddings received his Pilot Rating on 8 February 1944,
was promoted to 2nd Lt,
and then transferred to Hobbs AAF, New Mexico.

On 28 May 1944 he was transferred, via Lincoln AAF, Nebraska,
to the 505th Bomb Group at Harvard AAF.
