at Smoky Hills Army Air Force base. These were written in 1946 and concern assistance to family. Last one is from 1947 from Major General Witsell. He informed Mr Sisson of the investigations by the Supreme Commander Allied Powers ( SCAP ). Lt Sisson could not be specifically identifed but he could be placed at Osaka. He was known to have survived the crash and taken to Osaka Kempei Tai. The conclusion at the time was that Lt Sisson either died there or was executed. |
