Their initial destination was Mather AAF, Sacramento, California.
There is no information available as to when they reached this location
nor when they departed for Saipan.

Morning Report from the 877th Bomb Squadron, 499th Bomb Group, Saipan,
with the names of the Newell Crew.

Noted is their change of status from Temporary Duty to Duty.
