Around 15 February 1949, Mrs Forystek was informed that
her son's remains were enroute to the United States.

A request to delay delivery to Fort Snelling until after March 1st
was sent to the Chicago Quartermaster Depot.

The Day Letter titled
Receipt of Remains
has details of the train and time of arrival in Minneapolis.
At the bottom of the form is the signature of his escort
Sgt Edgar Jenning


At the bottom of this page is the
