At an unknown date, a Day Letter was sent to
Mrs Wright from Colonel R D Blankenhorn.

He requested that she confirm that her
son's remains were to be delivered to
the Parker Memorial ( funeral home ) in Lynn.
"Request confirmation within 48 hours."

Mrs. Wright's telegram was sent on 2 November 1948.

The last document is titled
Receipt of Remains.
Sgt Wright's remains were transported from
Troy, New York, on the Boston and Maine Railroad.

The train was scheduled to depart Troy at 1:00 pm 16 December

and arrive at Lynn Station at 6:19 pm 16 December.

Sgt Wright's remains were escorted by
Master Sergeant John L Swenson
United States Air Force

MSgt Swenson was with the 100th Bomb Group in Europe.

Post War he served as an Honor Guard with the
United States Air Force
for two years.
