There was an unusual amount of confusion following Lt Sisson's burial. The first concerned Lt Sisson's date of birth.
Below is the form Inscription Data for Headstone dated 12 July 1949 and signed on 21 July 1949. Lt Sisson's father wrote his son's date of birth as 9 November 1918. This is followed by a letter dated 12 August 1949 from the Memorial Division questioning this date.
In a handwritten letter dated 23 August 1949 Mr Sisson confirms his son's date of birth.
