The first document is Lt Sisson's Interment Control Card.

His Bomb Group is handwritten as the 449th instead of the 499th.

Next is a letter dated 5 June 1950 to
the Quartermaster General from Mr Bernhardt.

He wrote that the Date of Death on
Lt Sisson's grave marker is incorrect ( 15 August 1949 ).

In addition, there is incorrect information in Paragraph 4

( Highlighted with a blue rectangle )

The 449th Bomb Group flew B-24s in the European Theater of Operations.

A letter from 14 June 1950 concerns the incorrect date of death.

On 30 June 1950, Lt Sisson's brother William ( Willie )
sent a telegram to Mr Bernhardt informing him that the
Squadron on Lt Sisson's grave marker was incorrect.

The 887th on the grave marker should be the 877th.
