Below is a letter dated 31 October 1947 from
Major General Thomas B Larkin, the Quartermaster General,
to Mrs Warde.

The form
Disposition of Remains
was included and Mrs Warde was provided with
instructions as to how to complete the form.

She signed this on 29 November 1947.

Her wishes were to have her son buried at Arlington National Cemetery.
She also requested that his name on the grave marker be
Henry Hewson Warde.
